Do Hair Extension Clips Go Off Airport Security. However if they do and you dont want to be embarrassed just ask for a private screening. Some ladies who are fond of clip-ins said that there are times when the alarm would go off and then there are times when nothing really happens.
That said hair extensions that do have metal clips or bobby pins may set off metal detectors and scanners. With these things you might have to take your chances. Why they catch attention.
Walking through the metal detector at the airports security check is always nerve-racking especially when it beeps and you realize you just forgot to take off your belt or bracelets.
Will the machine pick up on my clip-ins. The metal clips arent coated with anything Im already nervous about flying and now Im worried about setting the metal detector off. Or will they make me take them out. I have traveled throughout the United States and Europe while wearing my clip-ins and I have never had an issue.
